Goryeo ginseng grown on the Korean Peninsula has a wide variety of Ginsenosides.
Saponin found in Goryeo ginseng is currently classified into about 30 kinds.
Depending on its structural characteristics, it is classified into Doil, Triol and Oleanane, each of which has different pharmacological processes.
In case of foreign ginseng, the content of total saponin is not different, but the type of saponin is about 4~15 species, which is much less diverse than that of Goryeo ginseng, and the pharmacological effect is extremely limited.
